“Chris’s production business is a train that doesn’t stop once it leaves the station, whereas I have mostly been able to make my own schedule as a brand and digital marketing,” Todd said.
“We live in the Miracle Mile area of Los Angeles, and there are just as many, if not more, men pushing babies in strollers around the sidewalks here during workday hours as there are women and nannies. Is that L.A. progressive-ness on display? Or are we just in a pocket of male screenwriters or bartenders?”
Todd was diagnosed with a virulent blood cancer last year but has it under control now. It’s slowed him a bit, but he and Sydney have more time for one of their favorite things: arts and crafts. “I love creating with her,” he said. “Her mind looks at things completely differently than mine. The best way to connect with her is to do a project with her.”
