Lead Dadnoun

Lead Dads are men who are the go-to parent. The man with the plan. We support our spouse’s career, we wash vomit out of sheets, we RSVP to birthday parties, we help with math homework, and we manage the family calendar. We generally get stuff done. We’re a shoulder to cry on, a short order cook and a ride to school. Some of us work full time, some of us work part time and some of us devote all our time to our kids and home.

We are growing in numbers, but we may sometimes feel like we have no peers at work, we may be outcasts at the playground and we may be awkward at cocktail parties.

Are you a father who…

  • takes an active role in parenting?
  • is the main point of contact for your family?
  • has a more flexible working schedule than your partner?

If you said “yes” to one of these, you’re probably a Lead Dad!
